This is the first wedding scarf into which I had the courage to knit nupps (bobbles). I chose this pattern (asides from the fact that it is beautiful) because it had few nupps, as I was a bit apprehensive about knitting them. By now I’m comfortable with knitting nupps as you can see from my last blog post (the scarves seem to present themselves in a bizarre order here) but I wouldn’t mind knitting this pattern over and over again because of this wonderful 100% wool yarn. It is so soft that I’m sure that these spruces won’t prick anyone.
